About Only the Best Support Coordination 4U (OBSC4U)

OBSC4U is an NDIS-registered independent provider specialising in Support Coordination and Specialist Support Coordination.

As a small, practitioner-led practice, we focus on supporting participants with complex disabilities and complex life circumstances, including psychosocial disability, housing and tenancy challenges, and involvement across multiple service systems.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Support Coordinator/Specialist Support Coordinator (Level 2 & Level 3) to join our practice as a subcontractor.

You may bring your own participants, and there is also an existing caseload of approximately 15 participants available for the right candidate.

You will be supporting participants to:

• Understand and implement their NDIS plans
• Navigate complex service systems
• Build capacity and strengthen informal and community supports
• Coordinate services across multiple providers
• Address barriers impacting stability, wellbeing, and participation  

Many participants supported by OBSC4U require assistance with:

• Complex disability and psychosocial challenges
• Housing and tenancy issues (particularly where SIL or SDA are not suitable)
• Engagement with mainstream systems such as health, mental health, housing, and justice
• Situations where supports have broken down or are at risk  

Important Note to Applicants

This role is suited to practitioners with substantial experience in Support Coordination and/or Specialist Support Coordination, who are confident working with participants with complex needs and multiple system involvement.

Applicants should be able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise sound professional judgement.

About You

You will demonstrate:

• Strong experience in Support Coordination and/or Specialist Support Coordination
• Experience working with participants with complex disabilities and complex life circumstances
• Understanding of housing and tenancy pathways for participants not eligible for SIL or SDA
• Ability to navigate and coordinate across NDIA, health, mental health, housing, and justice systems
• Strong communication, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement skills
• A professional, ethical, and participant-centred approach  

Essential Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or related human services field
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• National Police Check
• Working With Children Check (if applicable)
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
• ABN  

Applicants must also provide two professional referees (supervisors and/or mentors) from within the past two years.
